About Katie

Find out more about me, and my approach to yoga.

What stayed with me was the calmer, steadier, more present me.

That was my experience after a meditation and yoga class at a peace festival in 2015, where I truly connected with yoga.

Over time, yoga became a way of navigating life and supporting me through change, stress and uncertainty.

That intention shapes how I teach grounding, inclusive classes in Oxford and online today with a focus on connection to body, breath, self and community.

Who I teach

My classes are full of a wide range of people connected by the common theme of a need for space.

Wherever you’re starting from, you’re welcome here. You don’t need to be flexible, calm or experienced, just open to showing up.

Some students have a regular,  long-standing yoga practice valuing consistency and listening closely to their bodies. Others arrive through injury recovery or rehabilitation and stay when they discover yoga offers far more than physical benefit.

Many people come to manage stress, anxiety, or the pressures of work and family life. Class becomes a time to step out of those roles, soften the nervous system, and rebuild trust in themselves. Some arrive in the middle of something significant, when practice offers a steady, supportive space for reflection and change.

Others come simply to rest, particularly in restorative classes. Tired bodies, busy minds, and the need to lie down and be held.

Some students are new to yoga: curious, energetic, exploring life, often arriving with friends.

What my classes are like

My classes are grounded, welcoming, and thoughtful.

They’re spaces where you’re encouraged to take what you need and leave what you don’t,and to come away with a sense of steadiness.
