Here you will find a description for each of the In Person Yoga Classes I offer.

Gentle Vinyasa & Vinyasa Yoga At The Yurt
Open to all levels, including those who have not practised yoga before.
A Gentle Vinyasa yoga class. The class offers a moment to pause, ground and arrive. I will introduce optional pranayama (breathwork) and guide us through a gentle yoga flow.
A Vinyasa yoga class we explore movement and breath. As the class progresses, strengthening and balance will be explored, with the options offered within each section to meet you where you are on that day.

"Katie is such a great instructor.
I'm very inflexible with poor mobility and she is so helpful with giving me modifications to make my practice more meaningful"
Bradley Soule, Oxford, UK
"Katie is my favourite yoga teacher in Oxford - she's calm, positive, creative, and fun. She is brilliant at creating interesting, accessible sequences and there are always options for everyone in the room, all accompanied by beautiful music"
Rosemary Hall, Oxford, UK
"Katie has a knack of guiding a practice that feels beautiful in its (well thought out) simplicity, and holds space in a manner which softly brings me back to the moment, my breath and me.
Highly recommend."
Olly Layton, Oxford, UK
"My weekly class with Katie is almost the highlight of my week - Katie is such a calm presence, and I particularly appreciate how she offers prompts to adapt poses to differing levels."
Charvy Narain, Oxford, UK

The Yurt is fully stocked with mats, blocks and blankets so you don't need to bring your own. Unless, you want to bring your own, favourite mat with you.Yes, all classes, workshops, and retreats need to be booked in advance to secure your space. You can book online here.
Arriving around 5-10 minutes before class gives you time to settle, set up your mat, and arrive in your body before we begin.
Often, yes, yoga can be wonderfully supportive, but it’s important that I know. Please share any injuries, health conditions, or anything else relevant before class so I can offer safe options and adaptations. You’re always encouraged to listen to your body and rest when needed.
You are welcome in class anytime after your 12 week scan. This just means you have had a chance to check in with your midwife. Please do reach out if you have any specific questions around pregnancy and yoga. I am prenatally trained and really happy to have you in class. It can be useful to know ahead of time so we can go through few adaptions you might explore in class.
Not at all. Yoga isn’t about touching your toes or looking a certain way. Classes are taught with options and variations so you can choose what works for your body, today. You’re encouraged to move at your own pace and rest whenever you need.
