Yoga, Sound Bath & Cake!
Service Description
What to Expect Join us for a morning shaped by movement, stillness, and the natural rhythms that surround us. Held at Oxford City Farm, a pocket of nature in the heart of East Oxford, this gathering invites you to slow down and tune back into the quieter pace that the seasons teach us. Even though we’re still in the city, the Yurt sits right on the edge of green space, animals, earth, and open sky. It’s a place where you can soften without having to travel far. We’ll begin with a 60-minute gentle Vinyasa flow with Katie. This is an accessible, grounding practice open to all levels, including complete beginners. Through breathwork and flowing movement, we’ll explore a gentle balance of warmth, steadiness, and rest, honouring whatever energy you arrive with. Just as the seasons shift, the class offers options throughout so you can adapt and move in the way that feels right for you that day. After yoga, Emily will guide you into a deeply restorative 60-minute sound bath. As the instruments resonate through the Yurt, you’ll be invited to settle into a quieter internal landscape, much like the stillness found in nature’s slower moments. The vibrations help ease tension, calm the nervous system, and create space for the kind of rest that feels both grounding and expansive. We’ll end the morning gathered together over tea, cake, and gentle conversation. This small moment of community is a way to re-root, reflect, and enjoy being part of something simple and human. People pausing together, in a natural space, right here in the city.
